Teuila Wardrobe Guide #2

The Scanner messed up her skin, she's not supposed to be this pale. Anyways....

I decided to start doing pics of a character in different outfits. Since I do this traditionally, I'm limited by paper size. So here's the first three outfits. Bare in mind many of her outfits come in different colors.

The name of the character is Teuila Nuanua. Her first name is actually Samoan, means the flower known as "Red Ginger" or "Ostrich Plume" in English. Her last name, Nuanua, means "Rainbow." It's also the name of her race, but yes, it's also a last name, most of the Nuanua last names are either taken from things in the sky, or from colors. Because she's female and above a certain age, some of her hair is controllable, like tentacles. So most Nuanua women have braids, which may be as few as two, or in some cases, as many as eight. But even when she sleeps, she keeps her hair braided.

Now, about the outfits....(from left to right)
1. Tropics/Summer......she's often just wear a dress and absolutely nothing else (except her amulet), or might spice it up with a necklace of flowers, or a crown of leaves, or something like that. It's how she normally dressed where she grew up, Oava'ia'i, and in LeNuanua (homeworld of the Nuanua). Also when it's hot she may dress this way. May wear sandals with it if shoes are needed. Also, her dresses come in many different colors, and a few styles, but generally are loose and belt-less.
2. Daytona Beach....she moved to there after marrying Max. Yes, those are goofy sunglasses in the shape of the Interstate Shield. Would wear a t-shirt and a skirt, as seen here, or sometimes wear a t-shirt or blouse over a dress. And of course, socks and shoes (but may just wear sandals if especially hot).
3. Fall and Spring, NorthEast Corridor....she later moved to New York State, after her husband was...presumed dead. When it's fall or spring there, she layers, and in some ways resembles the "Mori Girl" lifestyle/subculture. Boots and knee-length socks, as well as layered skirts and dresses and sweaters.
